My name is Jia McKenzie I have just completed my BA(Hons) Dance in Scottish School of Contemporary Dance having previously trained art at Edinburgh College BTEC Level 3 Performance Arts : Dance and HND Dance Artists.
About: About
Born in China, I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland 10 years ago. I identify as Deaf ; this has never deterred me from my dream to dance. I have a strong determination to break down the barriers that I face and as I personally overcome challenges, I hope, so too will those working with me.
Having completed my current studies, I am considering my future opportunities, hoping to gain an insight into the professional dance sector which will support my future study and developmental research in the field of Community Dance Practice.
